Critical Successes and Failures
Rolling a ‘20’ on a skill check is a critical success and is treated as if you had ‘rolled’ the number 25.
Rolling a ‘1’ on a skill check is a critical failure and is treated as if you had ‘rolled’ the number -5
Critical success attack rolls are played by rules as written.
Rolling a Critical failure (1) on an attack roll results in the following mechanic: roll the die with the same modifiers as the attack roll. If this roll would normally hit the target, you miss. If this roll would normally miss, you draw an attack of opportunity.
Critical Successes and Failures for saving throws are played by rules as written.
Really Critical Successes and Failures
Rolling a critical success or failure on a critical confirmation roll does nothing.
